When I joined the design process for this newly built apartment at Marina Part, the layout and most built-in elements could no longer be changed. So the goal was to maximise the potential of the existing space.
Storage was the biggest challenge. The entire hallway wall is taken up by a custom built-in wardrobe. This significantly increases storage capacity while hiding utility meters and mechanical elements. In the living room, a curved ceiling design successfully conceals a structural protrusion without lowering the overall ceiling height.
The objective was to create a modern, cozy interior that evokes the calm, high-end atmosphere of the five-star hotels favoured by the client.
