The biggest challenge in this newly built apartment was the long, narrow living, kitchen and dining area. Multiple doors and large glass surfaces fragmented the space even further. Since we could no longer change the layout, we focused on making the best possible use of the existing space.
We carefully planned the kitchen, furniture placement and circulation to create a comfortable home despite the limited floor area. In the bedroom, we used decorative wall panels to improve soundproofing while adding visual interest.
The final design brings together the different preferences of the two owners in a clean, modern interior. Every element has a clear purpose, making deliberate use of every square metre.
